The Penney’s: Kelowna Children and Family Photography

I’m embarrassed to say that I’m still blogging sessions from August. I’ve been blessed enough to have been busy through the summer and fall and kind of lazy when it comes to blogging but I love my clients and want to show them off so if it takes 5 months..so be it. Besides, the shorts and t-shirts ALMOST make me forget about the sub-zero weather outside. I met the Penney family at the beginning of August when they were here visiting. Rick is a Chiropractor from Ottawa who is part of the Chiropractors with Compassion team and also a great friend of MY super awesome Chiropractor Dr. Jay. Dr. Jay and his family came along for moral support and some teasing and we had a blast. The Penneys are such a sweet and close-knit family, it was my absolute pleasure to hang out with everyone. Since Jay and Steph were hanging out with their boys, I couldn’t NOT snap a few pics of my favorite little boys. Noah and Levi are always ready with a pose and a smile. I love these two little boys…they’re regulars on my blog

Todd & Nicole–Married: Summerland & Penticton Wedding Photography

Todd and Nicole are some of the sweetest people I’ve had the privilege of working with. Their day was such a happy one, as you can tell from the huge smile on their faces for most of the photos. The ceremony was at the Summerland Ornamental Gardens, which is a beautiful spot to get married with tons of great little spots for photos and the lake across the street. I love shooting in Penticton, the landscape is a little different than Kelowna…more arid and desert like. Some of the best spots are right on the side of the highway We finished up the day with a reception at the Penticton Ramada. I’m so thankful to have been a part of Todd and Nicole’s day….they truly made me feel like a part of the family. I have so many favorite photos from their day. Big thanks to Simone for being my trusty sidekick yet again!

Chris & Allie-Engaged: Kelowna Engagement Photography

A few weeks ago Chris and Allie got engaged. Chris works at my Chiropractor’s office and I was thrilled when I found out I would get the chance to be their wedding photographer. We set out to do a short 1 hour e-session but ended up having so much fun that 1 hour turned into 3 and one location turned into many I love these 2…they are amazingly photogenic and can’t wait for their wedding next weekend. Instead of posting a bunch of photos…I thought I’d give a slideshow a shot. Hopefully it’s not too slow to load. Enjoy the show

Urban Belly: Kelowna Maternity & Family Photography

Last week I met up with my Chiropractors wife Stephanie and his super-cute little son Noah for some fun photos before baby #2 shows up. We started off downtown and a little while later Dr. Jay met up with us by the waterfront for some more family fun. Our session was exactly 2 weeks before baby#2′s due date…can you believe how amazing Stephanie looks??!! I’m so looking forward to meeting their new little addition in the next couple of weeks. And how cute is Noah?? He has got to be one of the sweetest kids around, always smiling and having fun. I tried to keep him but they wouldn’t let me.

If anyone is looking for an awesome Chiropractor, Dr. Jay’s your guy..his practice is different than anything that I’ve ever experienced before. The environment is so welcoming and family oriented. Sweet little boys

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful family of a client that I met through my appraisal work. Their newest addition was 20 days old and he slept the entire way through our session. His super sweet older brother was the most easygoing 2 year old I’ve ever worked with. Thanks Lowell and Kristina for letting me in the door. If anyone is looking for a mortgage, Lowell and Joe at Home Loans Canada (250) 861-1050 will take great care of you. Tell em I sent you!!
