I had so much fun with this gorgeous mama. Her friends really love her…they got her a gift certificate for belly photos We started off with some photos at her house but I had so much fun with her that I convinced her to let me photograph her some more…outside…in the glorious evening sun. I seriously could show off all 96 photos that came out of this session…but I won’t…here’s my most very favorites

Then…in October little Ella was born. She was so cute..this tiny little bundle and sooo loved. We snuck in a newborn session while her daddy was home from his job out of town….I got lots of snuggles, my favorite part about my job photographing newbies.

I met Mike and Stacey at the end of June to do some maternity photos. She wasn’t due for a few weeks but they wanted to make sure they didn’t miss the opportunity.

Then, on July 28th, sweet little Emmeline was born. She was so sweet, slept almost the entire time and I just couldn’t get enough of her. She was full of smiles for me…I wanted to keep her but her parents are head over heels in love and wouldn’t let me

During the Spring mini sessions I got to see one of my favorite little guys again. I’ve known Cash since he was a week old. Imagine my surprise when his mom walked out of the car and was sporting a pretty decent sized baby bump. I love that we were able to capture a little of that maternal glow during our spring session. I JUST photographed Cash’s new baby sister today but I’ll save those photos for another post.

It’s been such a long time since I’ve blogged anything I almost forgot how. I met up with Chad and Julie back in April for their maternity session. These two have had a busy year…they got married in August of last year and now they are expecting their first little bundle, they were SO excited! We started off with a little indoor session followed by some outdoor evening photos up on Knox Mountain.

Finally, after much anticipation, little Asher arrived on April 27th. I couldn’t wait to snuggle him and when he was 7 days new I finally got to meet him. The following week I was doing Orchard mini sessions and invited them to come out for some outdoor photos. I love doing newborn photos outside.

I met this super sweet family in July so we could get some photos before the new baby was here.

Then 2 months later I got the call that little Conor had arrived. I couldn’t wait to meet the little guy and hang out with his big brother Ben a little more. I was completely smitten by his dimples and the mischevious twinkle in his eyes. We ended up with a couple indoor and outdoor sessions. Thanks again to Karla for lending me her awesome couch. I made good use of it while I had it on loan.

I met Heather and her gorgeous family because her amazingly generous friend gave her a gift of not one, but two portrait sessions…my Belly to Baby package. We headed down by the water for an outdoor session and it wasn’t long before the wind kicked in and tried to blow everyone away. These guys were complete troopers though, they didn’t seem to mind a bit…especially little Calista who couldn’t get enough of playing in the sand. I can’t wait to meet the little one in a few weeks…I’m sure with genes like this, he/she is bound to be stunning. Here’s a few of my favorites…doesn’t she look like Angeline Jolie??

Miriam & Rob: Kelowna Maternity Photography

Yesterday afternoon I met up with Miriam and Rob for some belly photos. They are expecting their first baby and Miriam’s sister Michelle got them an awesome gift…a Belly to Baby package with me which consists of a Maternity session and Newborn session. I invited Simone to come along and take part in the fun and we had such a great time with these two…are they gorgeous or what? I know this baby is going to be beautiful and can’t wait to meet him. I’ve barely begun going through these images but I know that they are anxious to see some pictures, as is Michelle. Thanks Rob and Miriam for being so brave to go out into the cold wind. I had a blast with you both

Beautiful Mama-to-be: Kelowna Maternity Photographer

A few months ago I got a phonecall from Jas looking to book her maternity and newborn photos WAAAAY in advance, just to make sure I had an opening in my schedule for her. I LOVE when my clients plan ahead!!! Last week that day finally arrived and I went to their home for the Belly part of their Belly to Baby package. We did some indoor studio shots and then headed downtown for some fun outdoor belly shots. I love how cool these two are…they are obviously excited to be first-time parents and were game for anything I had in mind for their session. I am soooo excited to meet their little one when he/she arrives…judging from the look of these two, the baby is going to be gorgeous. It was hard to narrow it down but these are some of my favorites from their session.

My New Neice: Kelowna Newborn & Family Photography

My new neice, Mikaela, was born in November. I’m feeling a little like a bad auntie for taking so long to get these pictures up but I guess better late than never. We did the belly photos back in October before it got too cold. It was fun chasing my other little cutie-pie neice Annika around with my camera. These are some of my favorites.
