Meet Kohl….he was born in July too! I met his dad Kevin when I bought my van from him. I LOOOOOVE my Dodge Caravan. Seriously, never did I think I’d be a mini-van owner..but I love my van. I can fit a 7′ sofa in there which comes in super handy for those large outdoor family photos that require a cool huge green couch to make it just perfect…but I digress. If you need a new vehicle, go see Kevin at Okanagan Dodge. He will no doubt hook you up with something cool to drive. Anyways…enough about my wheels…check out his super sweet little boys.

Brayden: Kelowna Newborn and Family Photography

Meet Brayden (and his cute older brother Joshua). Little Brayden was born in July (I’m a LITTLE behind on blogging) and he was a little superstar client. Quickest newborn session EVER, he slept right through it all and was a total treat for me.

We met up again a few days later for some outdoor photos…I just LOVE doing newborn photos outside if the weather permits. Here’s a few favorites:

I met this little cutie and her parents back in June. Her mommy won a free session and 11×14 metal print by entering a draw at the Babies In Bloom fair in April. She was so fun to photograph, full of expressions and curiosity and clearly adored by her parents.

I met these 3 little cuties back in June. Their grandma wanted some photos of her babies and I was more than happy to oblige. I even managed to talk their mama’s into getting into a few photos with them. How cute are they??!!

The Stewarts: Kelowna Children and Family Photography

This next family is kinda special. Chris and Elisha Stewart are the power couple behind Abby Photography. We were supposed to get together and do family photos last year but it just never panned out before winter came. Finally spring came around and they found the perfect spot for some updated family photos…an abandoned orchard that was in full bloom. We started off with some family photos before their little cutie-pie Shea left with his auntie and then we got down to business and had some fun. They wanted some updated photos for their website too so we had a blast checking out the super cool property and it’s old barn and fields. I have so many favorites from their session so excuse the photo overload.

I’m nearing the end of the Orchard mini sessions and am so excited to feature my brother and his family on the blog. I just adore my 2 little nieces Annika and Mikaela. Mikaela is such a daddy’s girl, whenever Rob is around she’s glued to his side. The first image is one of my favorites ever and the pure joy on her face speaks volumes about how she feels about her daddy.

Here’s another fun family that took part of the Orchard Mini Sessions. Sadly this session started off with poor Carson cutting his hand and bleeding everywhere, not a bandaid to be found. Not long afterwards his little sister was running around, had a small wipe-out and skinned her knee. Needless to say our 30 minute session was cut short but I still managed to get some cute shots of everyone.

Okay, back to the spring mini sessions. I was so excited to photograph this family but super nervous at the same time. I always get nervous when I’m asked to photograph another photographer and if you don’t already recognize this beautiful mama, you need to go check out her blog. Tacey is one of the most infectious and wonderful people I know. Her smile lights up the room and makes you want to smile right right along with her. I was truly honored that she chose to have me photograph her family and I love the love they all have for each other. I have many favorites so enjoy the photo overload
