Finally…we had a decent day. It wasn’t cold, it wasn’t snowing or raining..it was just overcast and decent. Decent enough that the girls could wear capris and no jacket. The day started with Braedyn’s swimming lessons After that I dropped her off at Rob & Kat’s so she could go take part in the Greek Easter festivities. I thought I had my Stampin Up meeting at 1:00 but apparently I didn’t read the email and it wasn’t until 3:30 so I decided to get some work done around the house. As a reward for a getting it done, Kaelyn, Jason and I went to Subway for lunch and then to Dairy Queen for a blizzard. She sure does love her ice cream!
It was so nice out, we just hung out in the yard and then Uncle Danny came over and played ball with Kaelyn.
This is the look of a girl who was told she has to come inside…not thrilled!
She got over it though when I said we were going to Grandma’s house.
After supper, we went outside to check out the flowers growing in grandmas back yard.
On the way home I stopped by my favorite store, Lens and Shutter, to take pictures of the flowers on these 2 trees. I drive past them every day and keep forgetting to stop by. The Pink Cherry Blossoms are my favorite!
On our way home we passed by the Springfield Park and I decided to pull in and go for a little walk with the girls.
We saw this little critter on the rocks…Braedyn says it’s a beaver. She’s probably right.
That’s it for today. This should make up for the lack of posts over the past few days. Not much to talk about. I will try to do better..oh, and Jeannine..I’m really to hear you guys got 15cm of snow today. You sure you don’t want to move to Kelowna??? Have a good Monday!
