I’ve been a little slack in posting anything lately..it’s been a busy week. Teresa’s grandma died early Tuesday morning and she’s in town staying with us. Her task this week was to go through mountains of photos and put together a slide show for the funeral. We got it done finally and the funeral is tomorrow morning so I finally got my computer back. On Monday after work, Kaelyn and I headed outside into the yard kick the ball around a little and blow some bubbles. It got pretty cold and windy so that little outing didn’t last long but here’s a few pics anyways.
Braedyn wasn’t home so that’s why there are no pictures of her. On Tuesday after school we went to Beaners so the girls could get a haircut. I’m really not sure what this look is all about but she was watching Alvin and the Chipmunks…maybe something on the TV screen caused this face.
Braedyn ended up getting a bead braid and some pink, purple and blue color in her hair. She wanted to look like a rock star…like Hannah Montanna.
So aside from the really short bangs, Braedyn’s haircut turned out all right. Kaelyn on the other hand…not so good. This is before:
and unfortunately this is after:
The greenish palour to their skin is annoying but I can’t seem to get rid of it…it’s the reflection from the green walls.
Later when we got home, we headed outside to play with bubbles and kick the ball around again…this time the three of us. It didn’t go over very well because when one was getting too much attention, the other would pout.
They had so much fun chasing around bubbles.
Sweet little Kaelyn gave me a "flower".
She thought it was pretty and went off to find one of her very own.
For some reason, Breadyn was in a really grumpy mood. The next few pics are pretty funny.
Then Kaelyn started copying Braedyn.
This next picture is so funny. Kaelyn was trying to make Braedyn cheer up by stroking her hair and Braedyn just got totally frustrated. The look on her face still cracks me up…she is so expressive!
This last picture is of the girls finally having fun and wrestling.
If the weather is nice tomorrow, we have plans to go to the playground. Unfortunately they are calling for snow and highs of +6 degrees…yikes! I thought it was spring. Maybe I’ll have more pictures, maybe not. I will definately try to post again by the end of the weekend.
